TheBus resumes real-time GPS and HOLO card systems

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Transportation Service reported Monday that real-time GPS and HOLO card readers have been restored and is now functioning as expected.

On Saturday, a network disruption has impacted phone lines, websites, GPS information and HOLO card readers on TheBus.

The Oʻahu Transit Services states that no financial information or government numbers, including social security numbers, are believed to have been compromised.

Passengers can now use HOLO cards for payment and apps for real-time tracking of TheBus.
