HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A judge on Tuesday found a former Oahu Community Correctional Center officer guilty of murdering his mother. Evidence presented at trial showed Anthony Pereira II held his mother, 66-year-old Barbara Pereira, against her will and shot her multiple times at his home in Maili in June 2016.
