Fiery crash in West Oahu leaves woman seriously injured, knocks out power to hundreds

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A woman suffered second- and third-degree burns Tuesday after the car she was in plowed into an electric pole in Maili. The fiery crash triggered an outage that initially impacted about 3,000 customers. HECO said as of 3 p.m., power has been restored to about 1,430 customers.
