HONOLULU (Island News) — A suspicious object found at a homeless encampment on Kalakaua Avenue in Honolulu has been deemed harmless, officials said. Honolulu Police officers were called in to investigate after the object found while city crews were conducting a major cleanup operation of the canal near S. King Street and Kalakaua Avenue.
