HONOLULU (KHON2) — Elvis Presley is beloved in Hawaii for his many concert appearances and movies. His former wife Priscilla Presley will be performing at the Hawaii Theatre on Friday, for a show promising to shed more light on the private side of the King of Rock and Roll.
Priscilla will share home videos and pictures, and of course stories about their years together, and his love of Hawaii.
“He would always go there to relax, first chill out, and then he felt much better in confronting what he had to do and finish up like shows in Vegas and other places as well,” Presley said. “I mean, he when he performed. I mean, he gave it his all. So after that month, let’s say, of him performing, he just needed to chill out and just not think of anything and and relax and, and, you know, appreciate life.”
It’s also a chance for her to hear from the audience, as they are given a chance to ask her questions.
“I’m sharing with them a lot of my life,” Presley says. “I’m really very private, always have been, but I think, you know, I have great stories to tell of it, and I would like to share that.”
