HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A coconut rhinoceros beetle has been found on Hawaii Island for the second time this year since April. The State Department of Agriculture caught the invasive bug in a trap this week in Waikoloa, about 200 yards from the Big Island’s last detection in October 2023.
