The young woman was only 31 years old last year when she was hit by a car while crossing the street.
She suffered horrible injuries, was paralyzed from the neck down and suffered three cardiac events since then. She is on life support as she can’t breathe on her own, and she’s often in ICU, suffering pneumonia, infections and needs blood transfusions.
She is in a nursing home, which is where her disability income goes. Through all this, she’s been incredibly determined to persevere. One of her deepest desires is to walk again. So all she asks for is uplifting prayers.
And still, she thinks of others. She doesn’t have children of her own, but has two nieces and a nephew. She’d like to be able to give them presents for the holidays while also helping her sisters.
So diapers, wipes and baby supplies for her one-year-old nephew and age-appropriate toys would be appreciated.
