“This will be an affordable rental option exclusively for beneficiaries on the DHHL waiting list. Whatʻs important to note is beneficiary’s that choose to rent will not lose their place on the waitlist. We have more than 29,000 on the waitlist, with more than 11,400 of those being on the island of Oahu. That is the largest waitlist of any county. Oahu also has the least amount of land available therefore a high-rise project like this makes a lot of sense,” said Kali Watson, the Director of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands.
