The crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. and left two people critically injured.

Those injured, a 12-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man, were pedestrians that were hit by a vehicle.

Both sustained extensive lower body injuries, according to EMS.

Three others, who were in the vehicle, were evaluated at the scene by EMS but declined further assistance.

The accident occurred after a juvenile passenger in the vehicle began to experience a medical emergency. While the male driver assisted her, the vehicle drifted into the right shoulder and side-swiped the parked vehicle which then struck a sixth person who was evaluated by EMS at the scene but declined further assistance.
