Injured man medevaced from fishing vessel off Hawaii Island

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The U.S. Coast Guard rescued an injured man from a fishing vessel off Hawaii Island on Monday. Officials said they received a report just after 3:20 p.m. from the captain of a boat named HONUA-OE, requesting a medevac for a 51-year-old man who fell into a porthole and sustained an injury to his abdomen.
