HONOLULU — The University of Hawai’i sailing team mastered its home waters, claiming the Peter Wenner Rainbow Invitational for the ninth straight time in the two-day regatta, held Jan. 18-19, at Keehi Lagoon. A total of 18 teams representing 11 schools from across the country and Canada competed in UH’s spring opener. The weekend featured sunny skies and brisk wind throughout as the regatta concluded with 24 total races completed – 12 each in the A and B division. UH fielded four teams with all of them finishing in the top seven of the standings. UH’s top squad of skippers……
