The airplane aboard which I was a passenger suddenly experienced a diversion to Honolulu as it was on its way from Dallas to Brisbane in Australia.
Diversion to Honolulu. Sunday Morning Photograph.
This article is not about the quality or artistic nature of the photographs. Rather, imagine seeing the interactive flight map while seated aboard the airplane — only to suddenly see a sharp curve which should not be there; and no official announcement of the diversion had yet occurred. I was hoping that a glitch was affecting the interactive flight map.
Either way, the feeling was not very good — and the announcement finally revealed what I did not want to hear.
I will report more on this experience in a future article.
