Motorcyclist, 40, dies after crash in Wailuku

Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) – A man has died after a single vehicle crash in Wailuku Saturday evening.

Maui police said that around 11:40 p.m., on West Kaahumanu Avenue near Lunalilo Street, a motorcycle was traveling west when the rider veered right over the solid white fog line. He then hit a curb and an embankment before colliding head-on into the corner of Ting’s Bridge retaining wall.

The motorcyclist, a 40-year-old Wailuku man, had fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene…
