Ewa Beach, Hawaii (Island News) – The City and County of Honolulu announced that it’s in the process of moving forward with a new development of Kaleima’o Village – West Loch Apartments in Ewa Beach.
The 127-unit affordable housing project will be located on 1666 Renton Road on a 3.7-acre City-owned lot, and will provide affordable rental housing for low-income households.
All units will be reserved for residents who earn at or below 60% of the area median income. This includes single-person households earning up to $58,000 per year, and families of four earning up to $75,000 per year.
“Kaleima’o Village specifically targets income ranges that include many of Oahu’s essential workforce, food service employees, childcare providers, maintenance staff, healthcare support workers and transportation personnel, who are vital to our communities yet often struggle to find affordable housing,” said Mayor Rick Blangiardi…
