Hawai‘i Island police arrested 15 intoxicted drivers on Big Island roadways during the week of March 10-16, the same as the week before, bringing the total number of motorists taken into custody for driving under the influence since the beginning of 2025 up to 201.
It’s just 4 more than the 197 DUI arrests made by the same time last year, but does represent a 2.03% increase from year-to-year.
