HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A disturbing picture circulating on social media is prompting a warning from state wildlife officials.
An anonymous user posted a photo showing a dead turtle with its shell ripped off, insinuating it was discovered at Hau Bush in Ewa Beach.
The post has gone viral with hundreds of comments, however the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) says it can’t verify when or where the photo was taken since it was not directly reported to them…
