First responders rescue hiker from Koko Crater Trail in Hawaii Kai

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The Honolulu Fire Department said it rescued a teen from the Koko Crater Trail in Hawaii Kai Sunday morning.

The call came in shortly after 7:30 a.m. It was reported that a teenaged boy who was hiking fell and was unable to safely descend the trail on his own.

HFD said they arrived on scene shortly after 7:40 and made their way up the trail on foot, and reached the hiker’s location shortly after 8 a.m…
