Alleged gang leader sentenced for meth distribution, running chicken fights

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The alleged leader of a Waianae gang received a 14-year federal prison sentence Friday for distributing methamphetamine and running illegal chicken fights.

Prosecutors said Edward Caspino, 47, used a 10-acre property in Waianae to oversee the fights, known as derbies, for nearly three years.
