HONOLULU (KHON2) — Over 7,800 racers crossed the finish line at the 2025 Hapalua–Hawaiʻi’s Half Marathon on April 13, marking the largest half marathon event to date in the islands.
Approximately 3,000 participants were guests to the islands, looking to experience the aloha spirit while traversing the Waikiki streets.

The half marathon followed a scenic course through Waikiki and around Diamond Head, with the finish line being in Kapiolani Park. At the end of the course, participants were greeted with a finisher’s festival, complete with live entertainment and food.
