Medical students honor those who donated themselves to science in paddle out

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Students from University of Hawaii’s John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) paddled out at magic island for the school’s annual Willed Body Ceremony.

The ceremony served as an opportunity for JABSOM students to meet and pay their respects to the families of those who had kindly donated their bodies to science.

It was also a chance for many family members of those who had donated themselves to science to say another goodbye…
