HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu Fire Department received a call regarding a school bus that caught fire on Waialae Avenue around 3:15 p.m. on April 28.
First responders arrived within minutes, where they found the small bus’ blaze. HFD was able to quickly apply water to the vehicle and extinguished the fire at 3:22 p.m.

All occupants of the bus had safely exited the vehicle before HFD arrived on scene. A total of four people were on board, but it is not yet determined their ages and what school they are from…
