Hawaii Department of Education seeks input on cell phone use in classrooms

HONOLULU (Island News) — The Hawaii State Department of Education is looking to students, staff and family members for input on cell phone use in schools.

The survey results will be used to shape cell phone policies in the classroom. The DOE’s Cell Phone Use Survey comes to an end on Monday, May 5.

The education department is asking participants to share how students’ cell phones impact their school experience and if cell phone policies actually work. It hopes to develop safe and effective cell phone policies to support keiki’s education and well-being…
