Motorists traveling on Lagoon Drive from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, May 5 are alerted to solo bike training by the Honolulu Police Department.
Officers will be training for a simulated dignitary escort that will affect the stretch of Lagoon Drive between Aolele Street and Palekona Street.
During the exercise, a motorcade of four to six vehicles will drive down the route while solo bike officers analyze oncoming traffic/pedestrian conditions, identify potential threats and safely stop impeding vehicles.
