Teen arrested after Waipahu robbery, pepper-spraying worker; 4 more teens wanted

WAIPAHU, Hawaii (Island News) — One of the five teenage boys wanted for a Waipahu store robbery over the weekend where they pepper-sprayed an elderly worker was arrested.

A 15-year-old boy was identified and arrested on Wednesday morning, May 7, 2025 for second-degree robbery. He and his friends pepper-sprayed a 72-year-old worker then stole from a store on Saturday afternoon, May 3.

After the robbery, the teens fled on foot towards Waipahu Street…
