Man allegedly strikes elderly man with sign in Waipahu; arrest made

WAIPAHU, Hawaii (Island News) – The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) arrested a man after an alleged assault incident that occurred in Waipahu Monday morning.

According to police highlights, a 37-year-old man allegedly struck a 67-year-old man with a “No Parking” barricade sign at approximately 8:30 a.m.

The alleged attack caused an injury to the 67-year-old’s inner right leg. Once first responders arrived, the elderly man refused to get treatment…
