Man found unresponsive after fleeing police in Honolulu Park

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A man became unresponsive early Tuesday after fleeing from Honolulu police officers at Lanakila District Park, authorities said.

Around 1:30 a.m., officers spotted the man in the park and attempted to make contact, the Honolulu Police Department said. The man ran, and officers chased him on foot.

Police said they were able to detain him, but he soon became unresponsive.
