Midair mayhem after 2 threats in 24 hours on Hawaii flights

HONOLULU (Island News) — Kailua resident Tom Brovarone was on his way to his niece’s wedding in Los Angeles when suddenly his United Airlines plane turned around.

“We’re probably in the air for less than two hours,” Brovarone said. “A lot of people were inconvenienced.”
