State leaders hope to stop vigilante justice after Wahiawa mobbing

HONOLULU (Island News) — Calls for vigilante justice persists days after a video showing Carly Ng being beaten by teens in Wahiawa.

Carly’s family has asked the public not to retaliate after community members stormed an apartment building looking for the alleged bullies.

“Reacting with violence to violence only adds fuel to the fire,” said Kekoa Carvalho, head of Goals Hawaii.
