Man rescued from near drowning at Sandy Beach

HAWAII KAI, Hawaii (Island News) — Lifeguards saved the life of a man who was found unresponsive in the waters at Sandy Beach on Saturday.

Honolulu Ocean Safety rescued a 38-year-old man at 4:15 p.m. on May 24. Lifeguards noticed that the swimmer was in trouble near the shoreline at the Hawaii Kai beach.
