HONOLULU (Island News) — Light to moderate trade winds will continue through Thursday. The weather will stay mostly dry and stable, with just a few light showers at night, mostly on the windward (east-facing) sides of the islands.
Later today through Wednesday, an upper-level system near Kauai will bring a narrow band of moisture. This may lead to more showers in windward areas, and some afternoon rain in leeward (west-facing) areas. The rest of the islands should stay mostly dry, with a few afternoon showers where sea breezes form.
Toward the weekend, high pressure to the northeast will bring stronger trade winds on Friday and Saturday. After that, the weather should become a little drier and more stable again into early next week.
