HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Rice and sake from the Yamagata prefecture of Japan were in the spotlight at a special culinary showcase Tuesday.
A delegation from Yamagata, including Gov. Mieko Yoshimura and Takeshi Suda, head chef of the restaurant Okimizuki, joined faculty, students, and guests at the Culinary Institute of the Pacific (CIP).
