HONOLULU (Island News) – The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) responded to a reported building fire that was reported at a retirement home in the Pawaa area on Wednesday night.
At approximately 8:48 p.m. firefighters responded to Kalakaua Homes on Kalakaua Ave to find a working fire on the 9th floor of the building.
HFD crews rescued two people on the 9th floor and helped them get to a safe area. Their medical care was then transferred to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at 9:12 p.m…
