KAPOLEI, Hawaii (Island News) – Investigators with the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) classified the cause of a warehouse fire in Kapolei as accidental.
HFD Officials reported that the fire was caused by an oil-soaked rag that went through a chemical reaction and resulted in a spontaneous combustion of the rag, the bin of clean rags it was stored with, and the bin itself.
