HONOLULU (Island News) – The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) arrested a 29-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted his elderly parents in Waikiki on Sunday evening.
According to police, the incident happened just after 4 p.m. when a 64-year-old woman called 911 and reported that she and her husband had been struck multiple times with a blunt type object by their 29-year-old son who had left the scene.
The Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to Ala Moana Blvd and treated the elderly couple who received wounds to their heads and hands.
