L&L Hawaiian Barbecue co-founder to host new book signing

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Since his arrival to Hawaii as a 16-year-old immigrant from Hong Kong, Eddie Flores started one of Hawaii’s most iconic eateries: L&L Hawaiian Barbecue.

Now he’s sharing some of entrepreneurial lessons in a new book “Franchising the American Dream.”

Flores and his partner, Johnson Kam, expanded L&L from a single store into more than 230 restaurants across the country. It is the first company from Hawaii to successfully franchise on the U.S. continent…
