WAIANAE, Hawaii (Island News) — A gun was recovered from a teen at Waianae High School on Friday morning ending in his arrest.
Police responded to reports of a student who may have brought a gun to school shortly after 9 a.m. on June 27. Officers located the 16-year-old boy at Waianae High School almost an hour later and arrested him without incident.
At the school, officers recovered a pistol that had its serial number partially defaced and did not have a record on file. The teen is in custody for place to keep and his charges in this case are pending…
