HFD: Woman injured after scooter fire in Kalihi

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu Fire Department confirmed a woman was injured after a building fire broke out in Kalihi.

According to HFD, on July 11, around 6:20 p.m., firefighters responded to a building fire on Haka Drive. After arriving at the scene, they found an extinguished electric scooter.

Nearby, firefighters found a woman with burns to her face and hair, with difficulty breathing from smoke inhalation.

HFD provided treatment, and the woman was transferred to Emergency Medical Services…
