Deadly Ewa Beach collision leaves one dead, three hospitalized

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to a deadly two-vehicle collision in Ewa Beach during the early morning hours of July 12, the department said.

The Honolulu Police Department said that the collision occurred on Fort Weaver Road before Renton Road.

How can you avoid a traffic collision?

A 37-year-old male driving with an 18-year-old male and another juvenile male were traveling northbound on the road at a high rate of speed, according to police. That’s when authorities say the man collided with a 72-year-old male driver.

Police say as a result of the collision, the northbound vehicle went airborne and rolled over, ejecting the driver onto the median.
