The Honolulu Police Department teams up with the Department of Law Enforcement to host a Gun Buyback event in Wahiawa from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Wahiawa Police Station at 330 North Cane Street.
This is an opportunity for the public to turn in unwanted firearms safely and anonymously. No questions will be asked during the collection process.
In return, participants will receive gift cards based on the type of firearm surrendered:
- $100 gift card – Handguns, rifles, shotguns, bump stocks and Glock switches
- $200 gift card – Automatic firearms of any type, semi-automatic rifles and ghost guns
