HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Trade winds will become less breezy for the rest of the weekend as high pressure far to the northeast of the islands drifts further away.
A disturbance just north of the islands will enhance incoming showers for windward and mauka areas, especially on Kauai. We also have a First Alert for Tuesday, with forecast models showing another area of moisture moving in from the east, bringing another increase in trade wind showers.
