Parking restrictions coming as Parks permit office moves to new home

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Starting Monday, July 28, some public parking surrounding Sheridan Community Park near Ala Moana will no longer be open to the public.

The Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation’s Permitting Office is moving into the park’s two-story building with operations beginning Wednesday, July 30.

With an anticipated increase in official activity, street parking restrictions immediately surrounding the park will be instated to ensure adequate parking for both park permit customers and DPR staff…
