Boy airlifted from popular Oahu hiking trail in serious condition

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Emergency crews rushed to the Koko Head Crater Trail Friday to rescue an injured child.

An 8-year-old boy fell while hiking with his family shortly after 7 a.m., according to EMS.
