HONOLULU (Island News) — Juan Baron, who was accused of killing his lover and encasing him in concrete in a bathtub in Hawaii Loa Ridge, was sentenced to life in prison with possibility of parole on Wednesday.
Baron was sentenced on July 30, 2025 for the murder of 73-year-old Gary Ruby. Ruby’s body was found in the victim’s Hawaii Loa Ridge home in 2022 after Baron attempted to conceal him using cement and coffee grounds.
