Kahala Mall fair teaches public how to prepare for disasters

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Kahala Mall was filled with those looking to stay safe in times of crisis, with the Eastside Emergency Preparedness Fair taking place on Aug. 2.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. residents were able to learn how to prepare for whatever life may throw at us.

How to prepare for a tsunami

Representatives from resource agencies were present to answer questions and share advice for preparing for the worst.
