What’s Cooking: The Pig and The Lady returns to roots with new Kaimuki location

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – The family behind beloved Vietnamese-inspired restaurant The Pig and The Lady is returning to its roots in Kaimuki.

Chef Andrew Le (aka “the Pig”) founded the eatery in 2013 as a stall at a local farmers market and grew it into an award-winning Chinatown eatery known for its contemporary takes on traditional Vietnamese fare passed down from his mother (“the Lady”), showcasing local ingredients.

The Pig and The Lady’s Chinatown location will host its last day of service on August 22nd, and the team will shift to preparing its new site at 3650 Waialae Avenue at Civil Beat Plaza, which will open in the fall…
