Man arrested after attacking officers in Ewa Villages

EWA BEACH, Hawai’i (Island News) — Early Tuesday morning, around 1:30 a.m., police were called to a home on Elemakule Place in Ewa Villages after someone reported a suspicious man on the property.

When officers got there and asked the man to leave, he suddenly punched both of them. As they tried to arrest him, the 27-year-old suspect also headbutted one of the officers in the jaw.

Despite the struggle, officers were able to get the man under control and take him into custody. He was trespassed from the property and arrested for three counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer…
