HONOLULU (KHON2) — The suspect in an acid attack in Chinatown has been arrested.
Chinatown acid attack leaves community on edge
On Aug. 17, Honolulu police took to social media to announce that Marquis Johnson had turned himself in around 5:30 p.m.
Johnson turned himself in at the main police station. Detectives took him into custody for Assault in the First Degree.
This follows an incident on Aug. 8 near Smith and Hotel streets, where a 30-year-old man was left in serious condition after the Honolulu Fire Department said the man suffered burn wounds from sulfuric acid…
