HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu police confirm the human remains found after a brush fire in Kapolei on Aug. 19 were not dismembered.

In a previous report, EMS said that the body found was dismembered. However, Honolulu police took to social media to confirm that after an autopsy performed on Aug. 20, the body found was not dismembered, and there is no indication of foul play.
HPD continued saying that the case remains classified as an Unattended Death, with the cause and manner of the death still pending.
