Fatal McCully crash pushes Oʻahu deaths on 55

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A fatal crash in the McCully area has increased Oʻahu’s traffic deaths in 2025 to 55. This is more than double the 26 fatalities recorded at the same time last year.

Dirt bike rider, 14, dead from Ewa collision

On Aug. 21, at around 3:23 p.m., the Honolulu Police Department reported that a 67-year-old man was driving on Kemole Lane, ran a stop sign and made a left turn onto Young Street.

A 72-year-old woman was walking eastbound on Young Street when she was struck by the car.

Police say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene…
