Honolulu Youth Commission: A voice for our youth

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Youth Commission has new commissioners, and Asa Shimizu was voted Chair of the Youth Commission.

The youth commission’s main role is to help advise and service both Honolulu’s mayor and city council. The commission is made up of 15 Oʻahu residents between the ages of 14 and 24, with commissioners serving two-year terms.
